  • Preschool Learning at it's Best

    Funded May 16, 2023

Each week I provide at least 10 snacks for children who come to school without snacks. Those children now are receiving the snacks that they need in order to learn. Having had food insecurities myself, I am very passionate about providing food to children who are hungry. No child should go hungry in a day at school. Through this project I was able to provide additional snacks for 2 months. Thank you!

Additionally, current (and past) research on literacy shows that children who have strong phonics base in 4K are stronger readers. The items purchased in this project, will assist students for years to develop a strong phonics base. Thank you again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zeroth

  • Phonics and Snacks

    Funded Dec 16, 2023

Wow what a great Holiday gift! My students are so blessed and so am I! Thank you for your support for this project.

Foundational reading skills are key to the success of all early learners. Additionally, having snacks to fuel my students bodies will go a long way. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zeroth

  • Early Childhood Learning

    Funded May 3, 2022

Thank you for your assistance in funding my classroom project. My project supported all learners in my classroom. The items that made up this project are needed in order to assist my children in their learning! Paint is needed to create projects, hole punches and stickers to develop their fine motor skills, and the puzzle, card games, and phones to develop cognitive skills.

By funding my project, my students will be able to grow, learn and develop in ALL areas of their development from cognition to creative expression to fine motor skills!

I have students joining my classroom who need very specific types of materials; many with IEPs who need hands-on learning tools; this project had items just for them.

Thank you again for your support!”

  • Early Learning Needs

    Funded Oct 15, 2021

Early Childhood learning sets the foundation for children to learn, grow and develop in all areas of themselves. We teach the whole child from gross to fine motor and from cognition to social-emotional. Your continued support for my classroom and my students supports the youngest learners in our school district. THANK YOU doesn't seem like enough to say but here goes; THANK YOU for donating to my project, THANK YOU for supporting our 4K students and THANK YOU for supporting education! From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zeroth

  • Art Distance Learning

    Funded May 22, 2020

Thank you for your kindness is supporting our classroom this past Spring. Distance learning for 4K students, especially with a classroom full of varying needs, is not an easy task.

Because of your donations, I was able to provide students with hands on materials that they were able to keep in their home to learn with. This project provided students with learning opportunities outside of the classroom during our Spring school shutdown.

I could not have afforded to provide all of these materials on my own.

    THANK YOU!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zeroth

  • Learning from Home

    Funded May 5, 2020

March 13, 2020 was one of the hardest days in my teaching career. I didn't have students the Friday school's shut down; they don't come on Fridays. I didn't get to say goodbye to them, I didn't get to prepare them for what would lay ahead.

I am blessed that our district and my families were able to switch to virtual learning quickly; however, my students are 4 and 5; that wasn't as easy as just having an iPad SO instead I create packets, delivered items to their homes and eventually chatted with them on WebEx. Your support of this project provided learning opportunities for my students this past Spring and continues to this year. THANK YOU isn't enough.”

  • Sensory, Safety and Play

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Thank you for the wonderful items for my classroom! The light covers have provided a much calmer environment for 4K students this year; which is especially important for two of my student's with vision impairments. Having a clam environment allows for easier and more engaging learning!

The play items have replaced years of wear and tear on our playhouse; including a broken house. These items allow children to use their imagination to play and engage with each other.

Finally, my back very much thanks you. The green chairs allow for teacher's to have a comfortable place to sit on the floor during all times of our day. Our backs feel so much better this year and we can engage much more.

    Thank you for donation!”

  • PreK Self Regulation Through Sensory & Art

    Funded Apr 22, 2019

Thank you for your donation in support of my PreK classroom!

My classroom has 16 fluorescent bright lights. These lights overwhelm adults so you can only imagine the impact they have on children and their learning. By providing funds for this project, 12 of the brightest lights now have a fire-safe cover which takes the impact of the lighting down and in turn helps students feel calm and more focused. Students are better able to learn as a result!

Additionally, this project replaces items that were broken (doll house) or used up (playdough) over the years. This years students desired this items but limited budgets make it a challenged to replace. Your donations replaced this iteams!

Thank you from all of my blessed students AND for me!”

  • Family Engagement and Sensory Tools

    Funded Feb 14, 2019

The family engagement packets and games have been so very well received from our families and our students. It is so wonderful to have ready-made materials to assist in home learning for all of my students. My students have such diverse needs and these kits have allowed educational access at home that meet all of these needs; including my high flyers. Additionally, the sensory tools and specifically the headphones have assisted in the regulation of my students - even students with limited verbal skills are independently requesting to use the headphones. Thank you so much for impacting the learning and regulation of my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zeroth

  • Early Childhood STEM

    Funded Sep 18, 2018

Thank you so very much for providing donations to our STEM science lab. Integrating hands-on science into our play . workshop allows our students to be true scientists. Students in 4K learn by doing, this Wonder Lab allows playful, engaged learning to occur in our science center.

Children more and more come to school without play skills which lead to a lack of social-emotional skills during 4K and beyond. Having tools and materials in the classroom for students to play with allows for their social-emotional skill development.

Our 4K focus on sharing, turn taking and learning through play is key to the future of our students! Supporting this project brought this focus to life in my classroom!

    Thank you for your support!”
