Our student population consists of mostly African American and Mexican students in a low income district. All of the students receive free breakfast and lunch throughout the school year. Our classroom room is considered a half-size classroom making the state maximum of 13 students. With such a tiny room, students are unable to easily spread out to learn and transitions are a difficult task, especially for the overly active students.
