  • A Duffel Bag For Track

    Funded Apr 26, 2017

Thank you for donating the duffel bags to our school's track team. Our team had several students this past school year who performed outstanding during the track season. We are looking forward to our new season next Spring and we are currently working on providing our team with track uniforms.

Many of our students are not able to purchase the entire uniform package, which includes team bags. Your donation will allow us to provide those students with matching duffel bags. Because of your kindness, our team will be unified and our parents will not be stressed in trying to figure out how they can support their child with team uniforms.

Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Toler

  • Track Leggings

    Funded Mar 31, 2017

Thank you for choosing my project and donating the track leggings for the girls on our track team. Our season is over, but we will give the leggings to our new members next season. We had a fantastic season this year and we are expecting more members and more wins. Because of your support, we will be able to help take the financial load off our parents when asking for track items. Many of our track members struggle to pay for their uniforms and track necessities. As a result, our coaches, teachers, and others supplement the cost. You have truly blessed us. Thank you for your support!”

  • Teaching our Girls About Hygiene

    Funded Mar 19, 2017

Thank you for donating the cosmetic bags and feminine products to our school's mentoring groups. As a teacher and school mentor, we want the best for our students and especially our young ladies. With the lead and charge from our principal, we have created several mentoring groups with our young girls to help them to discover themselves, take care of themselves, and be successful in life. Through the initiative offered by Donorschoose.org, we came together to create projects that would allow us to put together care bags full of hygiene items to give to our girls. Because of your support and donation, we were able to put together 100 care bags. Our young girls were very excited to receive these care bags. Thank you for your generosity and support.”

  • Hygiene Care Bag for Girls

    Funded Apr 11, 2017

Thank you for donating the Vaseline and toothpaste to our young ladies within our mentoring groups. Each young lady received a care bag that was put together by our team of teachers and administrators. Within each care bag, the young ladies not only received your donated items, but a toothbrush, lotion, soap, sanitary items, deodorant, and chap stick.

Our team was excited to provide these young ladies with these care bags after teaching them about hygiene. Our young ladies were surprised and loved every item within the bag. The goal for the bags was to not only teach them about how to take care of themselves, but to also provide them with items that they may keep in their lockers.

Thank you again for supporting our mentors and this project.”

  • Can You Hear Me Now

    Funded Dec 24, 2016

Thank you for donating the two mobile sound systems. They have been a big asset me and my classes. We are able to speak through a microphone and play music. We have been using them almost everyday. Our students can hear us clearly and they love being able to move while music is playing. One of the most important features for me as a teacher is being able to take it around with me. Since it is mobile, it goes everywhere with me. Thank you again for your donation. The mobile speakers have saved the day.”

    With gratitude,

  • Move It Move It

    Funded Sep 30, 2016

Thank you for your generous donation to my students! They have been so excited about playing table tennis and disc golf. The students have been competing against each other in table tennis. It gets really intense. They have also been learning how to play disc golf. Many of my students have never played this before; therefore, we have been practicing in the gym, but we will soon take the entire set outside on the field. Along with the jump ropes, table tennis balls and paddles, I am truly grateful for helping my students Move It Move Move It! Thank you”

  • Walking Towards Being Healthy

    Funded Oct 7, 2016

    Dear Donors,

Thank you for donating the pedometers to our students in order that they may take part in our school wide healthy challenge initiative. Last year our teachers got together and began a challenge to see who can walk the most steps at the end of each week. This year we wanted to involve our students and bring the challenge to them. They were immediately on board. All day you see our students stepping, walking, running, and taping their feet at their desks while working. When you go into some classrooms you see them standing at their desks trying to move. It is a sight to see.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Toler

  • Soccer Goals For Learning.

    Funded May 3, 2016

Thank you for donating the soccer goals to our teacher, class, and students. For a while, we were using track hurdles in replace of soccer goals because we didn't have enough goals or they were broken. You can only imagine how unfair the practices and games went. However, now we are excited to be able to practice and play a good game of soccer.

Our teacher surprised us with the goals by pulling out two large boxes and she said she had a present for us to unwrap. As soon as some of the students started pulling out the goals, everyone started screaming and jumping. Yes, we were that excited about soccer goals.

We thank you all for helping our teacher teach us soccer with true soccer goals and not hurdles. We love it!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Toler

My students are 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. If you ask them what their favorite sport to play during class, they would all say soccer. What I love about this sport is that it makes them play as a team, they get their exercise in, and it is just fun. They come up with so many tricks to get the ball in the goals. I just think they are brilliant.
