  • Brighten Our Classroom to Brighten Our Mind and Mood!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you for your donations. Our classroom was able to be bright and welcoming for all our students and families. All the fun colors, paper and borders made our classroom pop with color and also show uniqueness. The children love entering our classroom and feeling a sense of happiness and adventure. All the materials donated were enough to cover all the bulletin boards in the classroom and outside. Thank you again for supplying us with all the material and helping us make our classroom bright.”

Thank you for helping my students enjoy their Christmas. Our families were extremely grateful and my students loved the board games and art kit. Christmas was hard for many families and we are truly thankful for helping us make sure every child received a gift for Christmas regardless of their home situation. Seeing my students happy is what drives me and having donors like you take time out of your day to read and help my project is sincerely appreciated. Thank you again from my students and their families.”

  • New School Year, New Theme Books

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

As each school year comes and goes also do our monthly educational units for prekindergarten. Our entire 3 Prekindergarten classrooms benefited from your generosity. Your donation helped us enter each thematic unit with confidence that our students will be able to gain knowledge and understanding based on the new books the Department Of Education has added. Most of the books requested were books we didn't have and thanks to your donation, we have them all. The books were beautifully illustrated and the children were engaged during our reading time. Thank you again for your act of kindness.”

  • Ending the Year With Hope and Joy!

    Funded Apr 28, 2021

Thank you again for donating to my students end of year celebration. Your donation helped my students all color coordinate to our end of year stepping up theme "All the places you'll go" The girls had on colorful tutus, bows and white tops and the boys khaki shorts with white tops. Your donation made our idea come to flourishing with having the theme all the places you'll go, which was another hit for the families and students. In going with our team me and my assistant teacher also were able to wear "Teachers of all things" shirts possible due to your donation. Thank you again, and I can't even express how grateful we are for your generosity, it definitely made this end of year process go super smooth and the students loved it.”

  • Stepping Up Here We Come

    Funded May 29, 2021

Our stepping up ceremony took place June 23rd in our school playground. Your donation of watercolors, coloring books, toto bags, mini chalk board and much more will help my students enjoy their summer of fun and creativity. The tote bags were a great addition for all of the great supplies you helped donate and also became a keepsake with their names. The Prek diplomas were a hit at the graduation and kids took pictures.

The students and parents were very appreciative for all that was given to them.”

  • An Apple Today Will Make Remote An Amazing Day

    Funded May 5, 2021

We have received your generous donation and put the mac book to work right away. This Morning my students told me "Mrs. Kinard you look better" lol. In reality it was the quality of the mac book pro that allowed my students to see and hear me better. I have attached a few photos of today's live lesson and we are learning all about babies. This Mac Book will be great for all my live lessons and future lessons and educational projects. Thank you for being so supportive to all teachers and our students.”

  • Customary Christmas Amid an Uncustomary Time!

    Funded Dec 22, 2020

Your generous gift was greatly appreciated by the families and students who received them. When my students received their board games I saw a twinkle in their eyes, that reminded me of a child opening a gift on christmas morning.

Play is an essential part of child development and during this unique time in their young lives, we need to keep this consistent. Social development is not being provided in the classroom setting due to remote learning and board games are a great source for social interaction with peers, siblings and parents.

As a teacher I try to keep things as normal as possible when it comes to my remote learning students. I try to provide the same experiences I would any other year. From little gifts on valentines day being mailed, to providing an outdoor graduation ceremony and of course allowing generous donors like yourselves to take part in such a rewarding experience.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lebron

As generations change so does education. Students, who have positive developmental experiences have a higher vocabulary, are more able to follow directions, are more confident, and have the ability to excide expectations. As an educator it is my responsibility to expose my students to new vocabulary, visuals and content. Having a library that exposes them to new vocabulary, visuals and content that they can relate to is my goal. Our books of choice are developmentally appropriate to their age and what is expected of teachers to teach according to the prekindergarten common core standards. Each book coincides with our twelve interdisciplinary units of study, some units are new to us this year therefore we are lacking on the books requested.
