A Spectrum of Color!
Funded Jan 17, 2024Once again myself and my class are so thankful for helping us get the resources to help me help my student succeed. The teachers pay teachers card is so awesome to use because i am able to purchase different resources to differentiate work for my students. All of my students are on different academic levels. I have students who are capable of doing kindergarten level work, first grade work, second grade, thrid grade, and 4th grade.
Having a gap this big is huge and requires different resources. One size does not fit all in this situation for them. Having the color ink for them allows me to print in color and laminate pages with cheat sheets, graphic organizers and other important stuff to help them learn.
We want to say thank you for your contribution we are very grateful for you helping us!”

Mr. Felix

Funded Dec 4, 2023From the bottom of my heart I really and truly appreciate when you guys help out a teacher and assist them with the supplies that they've asked for, for their students. All items that are requested are items/resources that would help benefit the students. My students function academically below grade level I cant perform a miracle and get up to grade level within a year. But I do try to have resources and items in my classroom that would help everyone learn to the best of their ability. Also these items will last for years to come and continue to help all the incoming students. Thank you to everybody who donated and made my project come alive. Bless you all for doing some amazing deeds and Happy Holidays!”

Mr. Felix

Funded Nov 2, 2023I just want to say thank you for making our day with these donations. When I bought the boxes up the students were wondering and asking questions about what is inside the box. After opening the box the students saw it was nothing but stuff for adults as they said. The students weren't as enthusiastic as I was. I let the students know that we will be learning how to vacuum and clean the floors around here. Students will also would work on reading sight words and improving their skills with the flashcards.
Thank you donor for pulling through for us and helping my students learn more and learn life skills!”

Funded Oct 9, 2023I want to say thank you for helping and assisting me to purchase this digital resource called IXL. Let me tell you that ever since I started using it I cant stop. I am always looking for new math skills to help my students grow and use skills that they should retain and be able to do in their adult lives. BAsed on our math curriculum I associate and assign work that goes together with what they are learning. Then in the afternoon instead of having free time we have IXL time. I tell my students that they should log on and practice at home as well. Some do and some dont. But I do enjoy having my students practice in front of me.”

Funded Oct 12, 2023I just want to say thank you for making our day with these donations. When I bought the boxes up the students were wondering and asking questions about what is inside the box. After opening the box I pulled out big yellow dictionaries and children dictionaries. The students weren't as enthusiastic as I was. I let the students know that we will be learning new vocabulary words where I pick words from the dictionary and you have to write down the definitions and create a sentence with it. I want my students to understand and know how to look through a dictionary this is an important skill when it comes to scanning and looking for things. I have so much to do with these dictionaries.
Thank you donor for pulling through for us and helping my students learn more!”

Funded Jul 5, 2023Once again the amount of support I am getting from you guys to support my classroom is incredible. I am filled with joy and overwhelmed about the people who care enough to support a classroom where they don't know the individual. I want to say thank you to the anonymous donor and I wish you all the best.
This printer will be used to make color copies/print outs. As you know being a special ed teacher I have to differentiate for my classroom and using different colors to teach helps make a big difference in how students understand instruction. Using colors provides a different understanding to instruction compared to using only black ink. Having a new printer in the classroom is super exciting and I cannot wait to install and see how beautifully it sits in our room.”

Funded Mar 31, 2023I want to say thank you for helping out my classroom to receive both the mini fridge and the microwave for my classroom. Both of these items are a blessing to have in the classroom for both the students and the adults. Students in the classroom started bringing in their own bottles of water and because warmer weather is approaching their drinks could be kept called and that is what we call a win in our classroom. Some students have to bring in their own lunch and because of our microwave our staff do not have to wait in line in the staff lounge to warm up the food which is another win for our students.
We have completed out first food project which was making apple roll ups using apple sauce, bread with cinnamon. This was a nice first project to do with the students which they enjoyed to do and tasted great for some others not so much. Having the convenience of this fridge will allow me to complete and do more food projects with my students to help them try new foods and build upon simple life skills as well!
Thank you once again!”
With gratitude,
Mr. Felix
Booming for the Stars
Funded Feb 6, 2023I would like to say thank you for supporting my classroom once again and assisting me get resources to help my students learn in a technological way.
Boom cards are interactive digital activities that are often self-checking! They are hosted on the Boom platform which allows teachers to create or purchase digital activities and assign them to their students. Boom cards allow me to differentiate by assigning different decks to students. Boom cards save me time because they are self checking meaning that Boom Cards instantly give students feedback on their answers. When you get an account with Boom cards it also tracks students progress such as their IEP goals and automatically grades the work as well.”

Easier With Easles
Funded Nov 29, 2022Cant thank you enough for helping supporting my class and getting these easels for us. I've started using these easel's this week to help differentiate instruction for my reading, writing and math groups. These easels are amazing!
When the students saw the two big boxes that we received in our classroom they started asking question about what is that? How are you going to put that together? Is that for us?
The students were able to see both me and my staff putting the easel together. Which made it a teaching moment for them by letting them know that to put something like this together we have to read the instructions by looking at the pictures and reading thoroughly . We also have to lay out all the pieces. After the first one was built the second easel was easier to put together.
Thank you for this easel we are super grateful to help support our classroom!”

Funded Nov 29, 2022Having these Ipads on hand to for each student gives them the ability to access to this wonderful reading program called Lexia. Lexia is a new reading program that has been given to teachers to help increase students reading level. The reading program Lexia is only online and you could only gain access by having a desktop, laptop, or an ipad. Lexia help students increase their reading abilities and assess students on what they know and what they don't know. All this information/data is available for the teacher to see. The teacher interrupts this data and has the ability to see where the child is struggling and is able to provide support based on the programs recommendations. Students also have the ability to work on Lexia at home as there are student letters with access to their own account. Most of my students find Lexia interesting because of the animations, they're interest in technology itself, and how simple this program makes it for the student overall.
I want to say Thank You to the donor for helping us fund these ipads. You are helping transform my class into a "21st Century Classroom"!”
