As a kindergarten teacher I strive to make my classroom an inviting, loving and safe space for all students. Young children learn best through play. Using academic based games and activities allows them to feel like they are playing while they are learning. They are engaged and having fun. We use literacy and math centers each day in my classroom. Children learn to work together and to take responsibility through these centers. These activities, like ten frames and alphabet locks, will allow “my kids” new and exciting learning opportunities that will allow them to reach their full potential.
