Time for Kids would supplement our district provided curriculum in the area of Social Sciences. We feel that our current Social Science resources do not actively engage our students. While having some useful information, we would like to add to that with Time for Kids. "Time magazines build informational-reading skills, helping students to better understand our complex world and become informed and active citizens." Time for Kids is an engaging magazine with national current event articles to inspire thought provoking discussions in the classroom. Once we have this valuable resource, students will have a set time each day to read and converse about the information in each monthly publication.
