    Words cannot explain how thankful I am for receiving my magazine subscription to Scholastic News. It is such a great resource for my English Language Learners. The pictures are promoting listening and speaking for my students as well as teaching opportunities over several current events topics. Because my students are just learning English, the pictures and captions are a great resource.

  • Empowering ENL Students through Writing

    Dear Donor,

    Words cannot express how happy I am with the supplies that were donated for my project, Empowering ENL Students through Writing. The supplies are being used and loved by the students. WE are using a ENL based resource called Language Power. Everyday while using the resource we are using the materials supplied by you. The crayons are being used to draw beautiful pictures, the chart paper is being used as scaffolds for my ENL students.

    My students faces lit up when they saw the beautiful assortment of paper, crayons, and post its they could use on a daily basis. Writing has become beautiful and fun for them at the same time.

    My next steps are to continue using the materials supplied by you for various writing and ESL lessons. We are so excited and truly honored that you picked us to donate to. Thank yo so much!”

Every teacher and educator in this school comes to work everyday filled with enthusiasm and a love of learning. We are sometimes all the kids have to succeed. From Reading to Writing, Math to Social Studies, our students try their very best and never give up. By the end of the school year, they are reading and writing at a pace that you would never believe. I always tell them it is because of yourself!!! You knew you could and you did!
