WWII Literature and Dcumentaries for English II

Funded Dec 6, 2009

With the most sincere gratitude, I thank you on behalf of my students, our school, and my fellow English teachers and other colleagues. We are a school that shares every resource available to us, and these books, DVDs, and other learning materials will be used not only in my English classroom, but also in other humanities courses as well. Learning about the Holocaust allows students to not only discuss, recall, appreciate, and remember unfathomable and severe prejudice, but also, students are able to draw connections between their lives and the lives of the Jewish, Roma, Catholic, and other prisoners and victims of the World War II Holocaust. I believe this is the most valuable aspect of this unit. I have had extremely favorable responses from former students, as well as administrators and parents, regarding this holocaust unit. Now, with these new resources, this unit will be even more unforgettable and successful. This would not have happened without each and every one of you. From the very depths of my heart, thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

With gratitude,

Ms. Hoffman
