Students will be discovering the world of ethics and values. As part of our Law and Pubic service academy program, we created "Ethics of Non-Violence" as the capstone course. The book "Virtue" is part of a series on philosophy that we hope to use in the student's creation of their own ethical system to live by. The course is open to all students from both the Law Academy and the Health and Environmental Sciences Academy. We have expanded the scope to include topics in ethics that will incorporate the essential questions in both academies. Our goal is for the students to discover them selves and create an ethical system to live by. Most of our students come from difficult lives and working through the variety of conditions that affect their thinking is a challenge we are rising to.
