My students are SO motivated by technology. Many of my kiddos are unable to use a pencil to write and complete their daily classroom assignments. Their writing skills are developing and we are using adaptive equipment to ensure their success. An ipad would be beneficial in my classroom because the students would be able to independently complete classroom tasks. It would build their confidence and develop their writing strength and stamina. I am looking forward to using apps like SnapType and Sight Word Sentences to build my students fluency and give them access to the general curriculum through the use of the ipad.
