Technology is an integral part of our world. In our classroom we utilize technology in many ways. The students in my class research information on the internet to learn more about topics, create videos using iMotion, and also type their weekly paragraphs. The students will use these iPads in the STEAM corner in our classroom. STEAM, which stands for Science Technology Engineering Art and Math, is an approach to teaching that encourages students to think critically and have collaborative conversations with their peers. Our classroom STEAM corner is a place where students can use their creativity, think critically, and problem solve. The iPads will be a way to bring the Technology into the STEAM corner. The students will utilize varying apps on the iPads and then share their creations with the class.
