My students are an energetic group of 7th and 8th graders in my Autism Support class. Everyday is a new adventure, and we are always learning and growing together. Our school serves students in grades K-8, from all backgrounds, and all students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. My students are all diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. Their developmental and ability levels vary greatly, from non-verbal to very high functioning. We all learn differently; and as their teacher, I want to make sure my students are able to learn as much as possible. The best way for me to help my students reach their goals is with differentiated instruction.
