  • Books Galore!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

I want to express my appreciation for the generous donation of books to our classroom. My students were thrilled to receive these publications. The books are an excellent addition to our growing collection of cultural resources. Your generosity to support the students in our community is greatly appreciated. My students have enjoyed the books as much as I have. They love going to the reading center because there is a book of interest for each child. The students have enjoyed exploring the different characters and settings. My sweet second grader students even took their learning to the next level by sorting our books into fiction and nonfiction. Learning has come to life for my sweet learners because of generous people like you.”

Thank you so much for supporting teachers during a very tough time. With your donation I was able to get materials and supplies needed to effectively teach my students both in the classroom and remotely. It was hard to supply each student with different materials but with your generous donation I was able to get materials on ALL different levels to support many different learners. Thank you so very much and I look forward to continuing to use the materials for future students as well. Thank you again.”

  • At Home Resources!

    Funded May 29, 2020

Thank you for all of your wonderful donations. Once school was shut down, students did not have the necessary materials at home that they needed to complete most of the work. The students that I teach were unable to do most of the work at home because they did not have the resources. Once they were given all of these wonderful supplies they were able to do the work and were so excited. My students were able to draw, create and write thanks to the paper, markers, crayons, etc. You really made a difference and for that we thank you.”

  • Math Center Frenzy!

    Funded Aug 11, 2017

Thank you so much for the generous donations. It is amazing to see that people appreciate and want to help my students just as much as I do. The math centers that we received are beautiful. When my students first saw the centers they could not wait to dive into them. They are colorful and very interactive. My students cannot wait until math center time each day to be able to use them. They especially love the one center on math problem solving. This strategy is difficult sometimes because it involves a lot of reading. (My students are reading mostly below grade level) But with this center; everything is colorful, easily explained and comes with manipulatives to help them. It is so useful and the students LOVE it! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping to support these amazing students.”

    Mrs. Rivera

The materials that I have asked for will greatly be appreciated and beneficial to all students in my classroom. They will be using them on a daily basis and I am sure it will bring happiness to them. Since this is a Title 1 school our resources and materials are very limited and I want to provide each and every child with as much as I can. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding in all academic areas. I have focused a lot of my products on books for the students to read. I find that they are much more focused and on task when they are reading rich, colorful, high thinking books. In my class specifically I found that most children love reading non-fiction along with many other genres. I have also asked for a mobile bin storage to help my students stay organized. Most students come in each day unprepared and all over the place. So I try and keep a designated area for all of their supplies and tools needed. Thank you for your help in making each and every child in my classroom feel special and excited to learn.
