My student population is primarily low income and of Hispanic Origin. They are all in need of encouragement and love. They also have a ton of love to share. Although they don't have many world experiences to share, they are anxious to share who they are and what experiences they do have. My school is filled with encouraging teachers and administration. We provide our students with many opportunities for growth and experiences. We offer Astronomy Night, Talent Shows, Art Shows, Concerts, Field Trips to the Shark Reef, Knott's Berry Farm and many different local businesses so that they can have multiple opportunities for growth. We started at a 1 1/2 star school and we are now a four star school. This is based on test scores. This is pretty amazing especially since the majority of our student's first language is Spanish. I have been at my school for four years now and I am proud to be a part of it.
