Students currently sit in hard plastic chairs 6 hours a day, 5 times a week for 180 days. Sitting still is difficult for any child let alone a child with ADHD or learning disability. Studies show that students who are more comfortable when sitting pay more attention in class this increases their academic performance (Edutopia.org) I will collect student academic data and behavior data before the use of yoga disks and after they have been used. I will use this data to corroborate the data that studies have produced on alternative seating. I need to see data in order to know this will work for the majority of my students,
