  • We All Need Our Own Supplies!

    Funded Oct 12, 2021

Thank you so much for your generosity in donating toward our project "We All Need Our Own Supplies!". It means so much to me and my students to have such incredible donors. Our classroom is beyond grateful!

Your donation will help to develop a love for learning in all students. My students will, without a doubt, enjoy all of our new supplies. (Their favorite so far is the Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down paddles). The supplies will be used on a daily basis through out the entire school year. They will be used during whole group, small groups and independent work. The best part has been that each student now has their own bin of supplies to use.

Again, thank you for your support in helping to provide my students with the school supplies they need to be successful. I am extremely grateful for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Molis

Thank you so much for your generosity in donating towards our project "Creative Classroom with a Cricut - Part 3!". It means so much to me and my students to have such incredible donors. Our classroom is beyond grateful!

This project has allowed our classroom to have custom Cricut cutouts to personalize the students' cubbies, supply bins, and dry erase boards. It helped us to keep our room organized, while social distancing. The custom labels also helped students take ownership of their own materials. The student's were also able to create fantastic Father's Day gifts. I have begun planning and creating things for my class of kindergarteners in September!

Again, thank you for your support in providing my students with the best learning experience possible. During these difficult times we are all extremely grateful for your generosity. I am so excited that this Cricut will benefit students for years to come!”

  • Additional Laptop to See My Students

    Funded Mar 14, 2021

Thank you so much for your generosity in donating towards our project "Additional Laptop to See My Students". It means so much to me and my students to have such incredible donors. Our classroom is beyond grateful!

The Microsoft - Surface Go 2 - 10.5' Touch-Screen Laptop has enabled me to join the Google Meet on two computers, so I can present on one computer while viewing students on the other. It has been a life saver to be able to monitor the students to make sure they are paying attention, as well as monitor for questions. Two laptops has made this possible and has created a better learning experience for my students. It has also helped me to be a better teacher to the virtual students.

Again, thank you for your support in providing my students with the best learning experience possible. During these difficult times we are all extremely grateful for your generosity.”

  • Stars of the Black History Month Assembly!

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

Thank you so much for your generosity in donating towards our project "Stars of the Black History Month Assembly". It means so much to me and my students to have such incredible donors. Our classroom is beyond grateful!

To conclude Black History Month my students participated in a school-wide assembly in which classes performed a tribute to an African-American that they learned about. My class performed a tribute to the first African-American fighter is New Brunswick, NJ. Students performed to the song Fire Burning. Students wore shirts with a fire graphic on the front. At the end of our act, a student come out of a fire truck wearing a fireman uniform and used his fire extinguisher to put the fire out. It is your generous donations that provided the iron on transfers, t-shirts and fireman uniform.

Again, thank you for providing my students with the materials they needed to be the stars of the assembly. My students and I are extremely grateful for your generosity.”

  • Making It Last! (Take 2)

    Funded Feb 28, 2019

Thank you so much for your generosity in donating towards our project "Making It Last! (Take 2)". It means so much to me and my students to have such incredible donors. Our classroom is beyond grateful!

My students are enjoying all of our new supplies. I have used the card stock and laminating pouches to create center activities, classroom posters, word wall cards, and various other things that will be used again and again. The lamination has allowed students to write on center activities and then simply erase it when center time is over. The card stock and laminator has drastically cut down our use of paper.

Again, thank you for your support in providing my students with materials. My students and I are extremely grateful for your generosity. These materials will not only benefit this year's class, but will also benefit students for years to come.”

  • Must-Have Bean Bag Chairs!

    Funded Nov 1, 2018

Thank you so much for your generosity in donating toward our project "Must-Have Bean Bag Chairs!". It means so much to me and my students to have such incredible donors. Our classroom is beyond grateful! Your donation has already helped to develop a love for learning in all students within our classroom.

My students are enjoying all of our new bean bag chairs. During literacy centers, students choose their own books, according to their level, and find a quiet place to read. I previously only had a carpet area that includes some pillows for students to read at. Now the students are beyond ecstatic when it is their turn to read because they get to sit in the bean bag chairs.

Students also use the bean bag chairs in the ipad center and during small group games.

My school is located in a high poverty neighborhood. All students receive free lunch. Many students speak English as a second language and their parents do not speak English at all. Regardless, each student tries their best at each task presented to them, but sometimes are unsuccessful. This does not destroy their spirits or bring them down. They continue to try no matter what the outcome. For this I am proud of each and every one and try my best to ensure that each child is learning to the best of their ability.
