I teach a motivated group of 33 fifth-grade scholars, each with unique learning needs. My students are energetic, curious, and highly motivated, with a deep love for learning through tactile, hands-on experiences. What truly sets them apart is their remarkable drive to make the world a better place. Even at such a young age, they are focused on creating positive change in society and can already articulate how their actions will impact those around them. With such a positive outlook on their future, it’s my responsibility to provide enriching activities that will help them become productive, engaged citizens. Thanks to Donors Choose, I can offer my students valuable learning opportunities through materials that are often difficult to access in public education.
