I want to provide my students with comfortable seating while they are doing work that is at times uncomfortable. Social and emotional learning can be uncomfortable for some students. We are asking students to reflect on their choices, behavior, and dreams. At times that work can be messy and uncomfortable. Flexible seating gives students the opportunity to take charge of their learning and allows them to make choices to enhance their learning experience. During class or group counseling time, students will use the flexible seating that will be more suitable for them in the counseling learning environment. Students will be more engaged and comfortable. The products I selected will allow our classroom to have more seating options that are tailored to students' needs. This will also be extremely beneficial for students with attention issues or those who need more movement while learning. Flexible seating will be very beneficial for my classroom. Students will be more excited to learn in an inviting classroom/counseling environment.
