The requested resources will advance my students' love of reading, creating and also enhance their imagination. I have chosen specific books with a series to get the students interested and hopefully build excitement when there is another book to follow. I have also chosen flexible seating to help them feel comfortable in our classroom. I want them to know what it's like to curl up with a good book. I love it when students find that favorite book and get lost in the reading. Another resource I chose was the storytelling LEGOs. I can already picture the students creating and pretending as they build. I can hear them saying, "Mrs. Adams come and look at what we have made." I think this will be a great addition to our classroom. The Scholastic Science Magazines are something I have wanted for a while. I love magazines. The students love magazines. It brings in another element of reading and again creates excitement of learning. The pictures are vibrant and the students feel important because they have their own little magazine in color! COVID-19 has taken a lot of things from these students. The normal isn't there anymore. We have all had to learn to adjust. All of these resources are going to help further the students love of learning both academically and socially.
