Accessing the World, One Program at a Time!
Funded Oct 10, 2018In today's world technology exists everywhere. We have it in our homes, in our cars, and even in restaurants. Why not have it in our classrooms? My students are finally able to access technology through the use of the Chromebooks that were donated to our school.
My students are so excited to start using the Chromebooks. Our district gives us access to such wonderful programs but without the Chromebooks many of my students had limited access to them. Now, with the help of your donation, my students will be able to access these researched based programs which will in turn help them academically.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the impact that you have made and will continue to make in our classroom with this donation!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Chevron Fuel Your School.Teach Your Heart Out, Miami!
Funded Mar 27, 2018With your donation I have been able to reignite my passion for teaching. Teach Your Heart Out Miami was inspiring beyond belief. I was able to attend professional development sessions led by various educators including JR Rivera, Gerry Brooks, Vera Ahiyya, Eric Crouch, Juan Gonzalez and many others.
These sessions taught me strategic things such as how to run my math centers, how to choose diverse books that will be both a mirror and a window for my students and how to instill excitement for reading in my students.
In addition, and more importantly, this professional development got me excited about teaching and providing the best experience for my students. Thank you.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple.GoPro for Lesson Integration!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you for helping to integrate technology in lot my classroom and lessons. My students and I love the GoPro camera.
Students were able to record different aspects of their STEM projects. What was most exciting to students was that they were able to strap the camera on their wrists. This made recording much easier for them. They were also more confident since they did not have to worry about dropping the camera and breaking it.
The lesson ideas are endless. It's companies like yours that make this world a better place for the little ones. May your kindness multiply!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple.Technology for Intervention
Funded Mar 11, 2016We are so thankful for your donations. Technology is part of most people's day to day life. Today, it is needed in schools as much as it is needed in day to day life. Technology allows students to access information and learning tools within the classroom. Thanks to you and your donation, we are now able to do so with the use of our new laptop.
The laptop has been a key element in our classroom since its arrival. My students have been excited to use it daily. Each day they ask when and how we will be using it throughout our lessons. They are so excited sometimes that they come up with ways to use it during specific lessons on their own.
There are particular students who have especially been thrilled with this new technology. I have one student in particular who LOVES animals. He loves to use safe search engines, such as Kiddle, to research animal facts. He then shares what he has learned with the rest of the class.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to get my kids get excited about learning!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Millares
