• Bright Story Time Carpet for Kindergarten!

  My students were so excited to unpack and unroll our new carpet. They could not wait to sit on the new clean, comfy rug. Their smiles were from ear to ear. The carpet is used throughout the day. We use it in the morning for our morning meeting, read aloud time, and shared reading. We use it during our brain breaks, our afternoon meeting and during free choice centers. Their favorite time is during read to self and when they share their writings in front of the whole class. We can not thank you all enough!!”

• Wobble While You Work!

  When my students saw the mats their faces filled with joy! They could not wait to use them. The day we opened them we used them during story time and I could see immediately how I had their attention for a longer period of time because they had a comfortable seat. When they are on the carpet they fidget and these mats helped their attention span tremendously. We also use them in our chairs during table time so I have had a larger number of students following directions and staying in their seats. I can also say I have seen an improvement in behavior as well. Again thank you all for your generosity!”

• Easel And Anchor Chart Paper For Peer To Peer Teaching

  I can not thank each and everyone of you enough for your generosity to help my students achieve their goals. Because of your donations my students passed the state test at 85%. While it may not be what I hoped for which is 100% I know that because of things beyond my power were at work. When my students first saw the new items they were so happy they could not wait to write thank you note and cards! The next school year will be even more successful since we have access to they items at the beginning of the year.”

• Interactive Workstations Needed to Help with State Exams!

  My students and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and kindness. My students are using the easel for peer to peer teaching as well as centers. They loving being able to be the teacher and give other students knowledge that they have. We have used the easel to teach math skills as well as history projects.

  When we received the box in the mail I could not wait to open it with my students they we as excited as I was to receive something new and so useful. They helped me put it together and everything! The next thing we plan to do with the easel is use it for group instruction. I plan on having each group do a research project and each group will use the easel for their presentation.”
