  • "Let me tell you"... Writing As a Way of Communication.

    I want to thank you again for your generosity. This school year is been different in relation with what we have experience before. Everyone had to adapt and accommodate to a new way of teaching, relations, sharing....and communicating.

    The program Write Bright has help my students with their writing skills. Although we try to stay working at the same pace, sometimes it is difficult, and having access to the program made it easier!

    I can say my kids are enjoying writing, I am amazed how their writing skills improved!

    Their essays make sense, are funny and serious at the same time. I am confident that when the State Test is administer they will rock it!”

  • Beyond the Screen.

    Thank you for the donation, I am so happy to have a computer that I can log in and keep log in and work! I am able to access and share activities with my students. The camera is awesome as the sound, it is great for zooming!

    The students were so happy when I share the good news, and it was nice to see their smiles.

    Now we are counting the days for Winter Break, and it is a great time to share videos and movies all together. Can't wait to do it!

    Reading is so much fun! We are ready to start this new adventure. Reading expands your brain and gives creativity a chance to come alive. It improves writing skills and vocabulary, which is great because nothing's more attractive than intelligence. Books offer an outstanding wealth of learning .”

  • Explore Coding

    Thank you for allowing my kids to explore and have fun while learning with hands-on activities.

    When I introduce the new materials, the children started screaming, they couldn't contain themselves. They were so happy!

    The children are so involved and love working with the Legos. I had to include the activity to the daily rotation, as they are so happy to work on it. I included "Coding" as part of the STEAM projects. Also, parents were excited, they offered to come and help for the projects.

  • Comfortable Safe Space in a Flexible Classroom Setting

    We are beyond grateful and excited about this new carpet! It has been such a vital part of our class and a great place to work, relax and meditate. My students love using the carpet as a place to relax, and during "codes drills" they have a space that is nice and comfortable.

I will be using these Kindle Fire tablets to ensure that my students have a wide variety of texts at their fingertips in order for them to read, and actually have the desire to read. The limitless choices that a Kindle Fire offers will give students the opportunity needed to obtain success in reading, and explore their passion. During class I will pair up students, and read and present paragraphs found in the chosen story. This teaches students reading and comprehension, a skill that can be used in their daily lives. With this type of technology, I am sure that students' love for reading will increase monumentally.

About my class
