The easel I am currently using just doesn't work for little learners! Books fall off during shared reading because it is wobbly and too narrow for big books. It is too tall for students to reach making it difficult for them to participate in share the pen activities. There is only one side, which is not magnetic, limiting the possibilities. It is not mobile so I am unable to move it around for different subjects or for students to use in paired and independent learning during literacy and math centers. The mobile teaching easel will be utilized multiple ways every single day! The easel will be the main focal point for my instructional lessons for reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and other lessons that are taught throughout the day. The easel will also be used for interactive learning during literacy and math center time and during small group instruction. Furthermore, the easel will be used for students to share their work while building communication, confidence, and self-pride for their work. The storage area will allow students to learn organizational life-skills for community supplies and help them develop respect for their learning community.
