Thank you so much for your generous donation of Scholastic magazine Let's Find Out in Spanish. This magazine has been an instrumental resource because my students are engaged while listening to videos and learning vocabulary. The story can be read to them and them learn correct Spanish enunciation.
There is also a fun electronic game the students can play as a whole group and I've seen the students cheer each other and provide for a positive classroom experience. The students look forward to using the Scholastic magazine Let's Find Out in Spanish and look forward to sharing their learning with family”

Thank you so much for the donation. My students have learned to look at pictures and make observations. There are vocabulary words and my students look for them in the informational readings. We see the accompanying video and the students have learned letters and sounds from them.
During carpet time the students look forward to working with a partner and sharing something they learned about the text. They look forward to completing the art project that is included in the subscription. Thank so much for this amazing resource.”
Thank you so much for donating to my classroom. The Scholastic magazine Let's Find Out in Spanish is helping the first grade students in learning to read fluently. Some of the ways the class uses the magazine is in pairs. The students will choose a reading area and enjoy learning about the Scholastic magazine Let's Find Out. These stories are non-fiction and the students need these type of genre to become better readers.
The engaging videos that come with the Scholastic magazine Let's Find Out are quite helpful and provide the visual connection they need.”

My students are really enjoying reading the Scholastic magazine Que Tal. They have gained so much reading experience and knowledge. One of the ways the students enjoy reading is as a group. There are five to six students in each table. Another way the students enjoy reading is in pairs. The students have several options such as sitting at the carpet and reading together. I noticed that students reading in pairs take turns to listen and help each other as needed.
Scholastic magazine Que Tal has made a significant contribution to helping my students read non-fiction stories in our classroom.”

Thank you donors for your amazing donation to my classroom. My students have enjoyed reading Storyworks magazine. These stories are fun and engaging to my students. Every time I take out Storyworks to do lessons in class I can see my students sit up in class and participate every time when I ask questions.
Storyworks magazines have great lessons that reach all levels of student learning. It is diversified and makes the lesson flow. The questions are at various levels that make it easy to assign to my cultured gorupl.”
Thank you donors for your generous donation of flexible seating in my classroom. I can honestly say that getting flexible seating has been quite enjoyable for my students. They sit in pairs at the classroom library and read fun books. Since my students are spending longer periods of time reading, their reading level has increased significantly this year.
Since the flexible seating is comfortable I also noticed that my students are reading chapter books. This is amazing because usually I have to convince them to try these books.”
Thank you so much for your generous donation. My student's reading levels have increased due the educational articles in Scholastic News. These articles are informative and my students get very excited when they see the packet arrive to the classroom.
Scholastic News and Science Spin are included with this order and my students enjoy reading in groups or partners. They read aloud to each other and are building their fluency while helping each other. Something I have noticed is that they encourage each other to read.
Once again thank you for helping me build a community of readers in my classroom.”

Thank you so much donors for your generous donation. My students have learned so much from the writing process. The writing process folder is perfect for my group of students this year. They begin by writing a rough draft. Before the rough draft would have been lost and students would need to redo it. However, due to the writing process folder everything is organized for them.
My students now look forward to writing and even ask to complete this fun task on a daily basis. This has never happened before and I believe it's due to the writing folder.”

Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students have been using the writing resources weekly. Since I am a bilingual teacher then donation was twofold. I am able to get resources for my two classes and this had made the school year so much more enjoyable.
Recently, one of my students commented how much he enjoyed figurative language due to the the engaging and fun lesson we were doing. Usually, students will comment its great, but my student used academic language which is always the goal.”

Thank for the gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers. I have been able to purchase many resources. I have bilingual students and monolingual students. Having various types of work readily available has been challenging this year.
However, because of your generous donation I am able to be ready and my students have challenging work that motivates them, too. Teachers Pay Teachers has all subjects available for purchase. So far I have purchased reading comprehension work in both English and Spanish for my students.”
