These unprecedented times have forced us to look for alternatives to continue to support and to teach our students. As a teacher, having a device that would allow me to deliver the lessons throughout the day without lagging, or technical issues is essential. I need to be able to create slides and to present them without the computer freezing. The hope is to help give my students the best experience they can possibly get while in this new type of classroom. With this new device, I aim to engage my students in meaninful activities while live streaming, and to provide a virtual sense of community. While we hope to return to the classrooms soon, the reality is that we must continue to teach and support the kids remotely. The new laptop would be able to handle the workload and won't crash because there are too many applications open. Having the right tools that can help overcome the challenges that may arise during synchronous instructions/learning, would also allow me to provide my students with the much needed support and instruction.
