My students are a group of 27 creative and high energy 3rd graders. Many come from difficult backgrounds and life experiences. They love to learn but have many academic challenges. More than half of my students are reading at least 2 years below grade level. I want to inspire my students to become lifelong learners! Our school is in a high poverty area with 98% of the students being minorities. English is a second language for some of my students.
