Students will be creating a house of the future. They will use math, science, technology and engineering skills to construct a model house. They will learn about careers in the trades and everything that is required to construct a house. They will then use the batteries, copper tape and LED lights from this project to learn about electricity and how a circuit is created. Students will explain their thinking by writing an essay that explains why their house is prepared for the future. This project is multidisciplinary, student-driven and inquiry based.
