• Furniture Fun

  Amazing! The box arrived today and already the students are using the new cushions in their desk chairs. When I first ordered them, I figured they would be used for the floor only. It is so nice to see that the students have found additional ways that they are useful! I can see that these new seats are going to see so much use. I already appreciate the fact that they are easy to clean.

• Stencil Sleeves

  Thank you so much for the awesome stencils and the sleeve protectors. Already today I used the sleeves to put together student notebooks/binders. They will be used throughout the year as well to keep all of their writing components in one secure area. This way, I don't have to worry about students losing their writing.

  I have been so blessed with great support from community members and also from various donors around the country. My students are the real winners because I am able to keep them organized, which leads to success. Thanks again for all you do to support public education!

• Colorful Concoction

  Thank you so much for providing a variety of small treats for my students to enjoy in the classrooms that I teach. I look forward to being able to share with all students, but for those that are struggling, but who persevere it is nice to give them an added bonus. I especially love rewarding hard work! Sometimes having that small piece of candy for motivation is all the encouragement students need to plug away and get the job done.

  It really is a challenging thing we are asking students to do each day. I am so proud of my classes and know they are really excited about having a treat now and then.

• Ball Board

  Thank you so much for the amazing sports balls and the tagboard. My students will be so excited to receive them and my team has already planned to use them the first week of school. Nothing makes my students more happy than getting some fresh air.

• Sound Sticking

  Wow, thanks! It is hard to believe that it has only been two days since the earbuds arrived and I can't wait until students are using them in class. They will be taking an assessment that calls for listening to a reading passage. It will be nice to give students that don't have their own earbuds a set to use.

  It seems like such a small thing, but it really does even up the playing field for all students. I have even had other teachers ask about them and I directed them to donorschoose.org right away.

  In addition, having tape to hang completed projects in the hall really helps students take pride in their work. They strive for excellence knowing others will see what they have done!

  Thank you so much for the kind donations which will allow me to purchase curriculum support through Teachers Pay Teachers. We are in the process of looking at a new curriculum for next year and so I am certain that I will need to supplement this new material.

  I think it is so important that students are able to have the materials they need in order to be successful and because so many of them are just struggling to have enough food at home, it is more critical that students have what they need in order to be successful.

  Thank you so much for the amazing donations! These came at the perfect time, which was during state testing and immediately students wanted to work to earn them. One student even asked if she could do extra reading lessons to earn more. How awesome is that?

  My classroom is truly blessed to have such amazing support from so many donors that have given to my classroom repeatedly. It has also been nice to have reward options other than snacks, especially for those students that are observing Ramadan right now.

• Healthy Option

  Thank you so much for the wonderful support shown to my classes. I opened one of the granola bar boxes already today for students to enjoy. They were so excited and almost all of them used manners and said thank you, which is something we are really working hard on in my class.

  I have been so blessed to be able to offer hungry students a small snack to get them through the day. I am even more excited that I have a variety of healthy options to offer students. Because the economy is the way it is, this might be the only treat they get throughout the day. Thanks again! It is so appreciated it.”
