• Creating the Future

  Thank you so much for our new tools to create new inventions! Our Shark Tank club is preparing for our showcase in June where judges will checkout our new creations. Students are preparing by using the new 3D printer, doodle pen, and sewing machine. They have been creating sustainable fashion items using recycled materials. They have made earrings, bags, and other neat items that not only send a message but are also quite functional. The 3D printer and doodle pen allow students to make their own designs and puts structure into their inventions. Thank you for making this possible!”

• iPads For High School Government

  Funded Apr 7, 2022

  Thank you so much for our new ipads. We have jumped right into using them to create content on behalf of the student government. With these ipads we are able to share and spread news in multiple modalities! We can create visuals that go along with updates to what our community is doing. Recently we used our ipads to updates our new student website and to make videos to be included in the Dean's office video updates. The ipads have also been very helpful when the secretary is taking minutes of the meetings. Everyone can see them in real time and edit the document all at once! We are so excited to use the other features to lead our student body.”

• Rugby Jerseys

  Thank you so much for the new rugby jerseys! We are so excited to finally be able to play and be a team again. This pandemic was so tough but being part of the rugby team and having uniforms that show our pride and togetherness has really lessened the difficulties we have faced over the past few years. These new uniforms have allowed us to start over and come back strong.

  The pandemic also was an economic hardship on many of our families. Having uniforms that are available for team members at no cost and can be reused year to year is more economical and earth friendly! Our wins are yours! Thank you so much!”

  Thank you so much for the new rugby shorts! We are so excited to finally be able to play and be a team again. • New And Improved Cross Country Uniforms

  We are SO EXCITED to get new uniforms! This has been a project in the works for several years and we are ecstatic that it is finally happening! With these new uniforms, we will be able to be more comfortable which will allow us to focus on our technique and all that comes with cross country. Additionally, these new popping uniforms will allow others to see us, even from far away when we are doing our distance running! These uniforms also give us a sense of comradery where we can be prideful in representing our school! Without your help, this project would not have been possible. Many thanks!”

• Cheering America On Virtually

  Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to perform and be a team again! We were so excited to be part of this event and share our talents with the nation. Having been inside for so long, it was so nice to get back and perform. It was also a nice way to bond with our teammates, many of whom we didn't get to see for over a year. It was also nice to learn something new. The routine gave us the ability to be challenged but also show off our many dance and cheer talents. Without your help, this would not have been possible! • Ultimate Uniforms for Our Ultimate Team!

  Thank you so much for our new uniforms for our ultimate frisbee team! We are waiting in anticipation for them to arrive! We are so excited that we will be able to wear these with pride not only at competitions but also around our community. Pride is something that is so important to our school and being part of this team helps to make that even more special. Our team has been recovering from the COVID pandemic and ultimate Frisbee was something that brought us back together during a very challenging time. These uniforms not only represent our school but the partnership we have even when times are tough!”

• Socio-Emotional Learning Gone Virtual!

  Thank you so much for the ipad! My colleagues and I are so excited as we are trying to improve the social and emotional learning of our students. With the pandemic, it has been difficult on our learners to have a social life which has not been easy on their emotional development. To help combat some of these challenges, we have been developing monthly community days and other activities that allow students to address different themes: self care, empathy for others, digital citizenship, etc. The iPad allow us to run creative apps that students can communicate through and make and share artifacts with their classmates to express the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they developed during these events. • An Education on Celebrating Differences

  Thank you so much for the new resources! Both students and teachers are so excited! Our school community has been working hard to become a more restorative and welcoming place. Many of the books are focused on helping us teachers and staff approach situations in a more restorative manner rather than punitively. By doing this, students who make not so great decisions learn to understand how their actions harm themselves and the community. These conversations are tough and often adults struggle to facilitate these conversations. These books have started to help guide us so that these conversations can be meaningful.

  Since we don't have a library, the other books are for students to borrow and read in their free time. Over time we have been accumulating more diverse books to represent the all the backgrounds of our students so that others can also learn! Many thanks!”

• Practice Bows

  Funded Dec 11, 2020

  We are so excited to get the ribbon for our new bows! This year has been so challenging and the cohesiveness we usually feel as a team has been hindered by the pandemic. The ribbon for these new bows have helped us feel a sense of camaraderie again!

  As we draw closer to the end of the year, we are hoping to do an end of the year zoom party to make our bows. By getting to hangout with each other and do a group activity, we are hoping to build bonds for new members and strengthen bonds for veteran members. THANK YOU!”
