Kindergarten, what a fun grade to teach! Kate Schenck Elementary is in the center of San Antonio Texas. More than 90% of our student population is economically disadvantaged but we don't let that hinder us. My kindergarten class is full of life! Having a room full of five to six year old boys and girls can be challenging at times but every minute is worth it. As a classroom we are flexible in making due with what we have but our classroom does not have certain things that would be beneficial to us. I do not have any children of my own and my students are my children. I want the very best for them and I strive to be the best teacher/ role model I can be.
