Thank you very much for donating to my class. My students are great hard working children. This afternoon snack you have provided them goes a very long way. The students will be so grateful every time they receive a snack. I am so thankful to you for your kindness and generosity. It means so much to us.”

Thank you very much for your very generous donation. The students will be very pleased with these snacks. My students are very hard working but hungry bellies can deter work. Your donation means so very much to us. Thank you so much for thinking about our little class on the South Bronx.”

Thank you for the snacks you have provided my students. The schools day can be long and tedious. The students know that hunger will never interfere with their days. Every day the students receive one of the snacks you have provided and they smile.
The students are more upbeat immediately after receiving the snacks. The students are reinvigorated and jump into their work with a new ferocity. I can not describe with words how impactful your donation has been to my classroom. I am very thankful that you have looked out for our little classroom in the South Bronx.”

Thank you for the very generous donation to our classroom. The students work very hard. They have come so far since the first day of the year. I am very proud of them. The afternoons are harder than the mornings because the students are tired and hungry. The snacks you have provided give the students a boost in the afternoon. The students work better. They collaborate better. They have higher spirits.
The snacks you have provided are less about being a snack and more about being a super power. The students are able to level up because of your help, thank you!”

The donations we have received have made a large and immediate impact to the classroom. The students know that everyday the classroom will be a place where they will be challenged and will feel safe. The students also know that they will receive a snack and will never feel hungry.
The students hearts are filled with gratitude for the snacks. They know that not all classes receives snacks. They know that people that have never met them have spent their money to provide them with an afternoon snack. I hear the students while they are eating constantly talk about, "The kind" people that bought the snacks.”
Thank you for the very generous donation to my students. They greatly appreciate the snacks. You make their days stronger and better. They have the ability to work, and work well for a long period of time. They smile and you can see that the snacks mean something to them. Thank you!”
Thank you for the very generous donation of snacks to my classroom. Both my students and I greatly appreciate your warmth and kindness. You have shown so much care and love for my students, I can never thank you enough.
The students have done really great work this year. The growth that the students have made is quite phenomenal. I am so very proud of them. I know that your donation has played an integral part in the growth the students have made. Without your contribution the students would have hunger that would stop them from being able to put their all into their learning.
Your donation has allowed the students to have basic needs met. With basic needs met, the students are able to put their energy into their learning and it has shown through their growth.”
Thank you for the snacks. They provided my students with sustenance. The snacks provided a huge pick me up that allows the students to get through their afternoons of learning and working hard.
The students are so excited for a snack. They appreciate the snack and smile when they receive them.
We are learning about the American Revolution. My students had no context about the war. Since my students didn't have any background knowledge about the war or life during colonial times they weren't understanding the premise of the war.
While discussing taxation without representation I pulled out the snacks. I changed the table names from numbers to England and the colonies. I gave the students the snacks but I taxed from each snack given to one of the Colony tables a little and gave it to Kind Fabian the Third (one of the students who was playing along). The students were finally able to understand the concept of the American Revolution. Your gift to the classroom always helps but for that lesson they were a life saver.”

Thank you very much for these wonderful books. The students have a great interest in reading. These books are providing many great resources for the students.
When reading times starts. Students grab their books and find their comfortable place in the room. Some students stay at their own seats. Some students lay on the carpet with pillows. Some students move to another seat. All students get to feel comfortable and read a book of their choice. These books are a good driver to keep their flame lit.
The students in my class work really hard all day. The regulation of emotions can throw a student off track. Sometimes something like hunger will present itself as anger, sadness, or inability to focus. It's hard to focus if you have rumbles in your tumblies.
A snack isn't a snack it is a midafternoon boost. It is a reprieve from hunger for the next few hours. It is the ability to do the tasks in front of you because your necessities are taken care of. Your kindness has made the sun shine just a little brighter on my South Bronx classroom.”

Everyday I see the positive benefits of Jiu Jitsu on students lives both mentally and physically. I've been a brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner for several years. I think that the benefits that Brazilian Jiu JItsu promote would mean a lot to the students I teach. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is taught to children of all ages throughout the United States, Brazil, and United Arab Emirates (It's a class in school there). There is already a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program in a Bronx high school. I would like to introduce Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to my 4th and 5th grade students.
A wrestling mat would give a safe place for instruction and a place to practice moves. A wrestling mat is able to be folded up when it isn't being used.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is often compared to human chess. Through practice you realize that there are always options. Opportunities are available at every corner. Students who practice Jiu Jitsu will build confidence and open up neural pathways by delving into a truely cerebral activity.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is also tremendous exercise. Students will receive an intense cardiovascular workout. Students will build strength and push their capabilities.
The best part they won't even know they are exercising because they will be having so much fun.
