I am a teacher in Austin, Texas. I am doing a Donors Choose for one of our fifth grade students. She is an all-around great student, who enjoys her academics and helping with after school events. We recently found out that she has been diagnosed with leukemia. Unfortunately, she will not be able to finish the school year. She will be spending all of her time in the hospital and hopefully, eventually at home. We are asking for donations so that we can buy her an iPad. Through all of this, she is very worried about all the school work she will be missing. If she has an iPad, she will be able to receive homework assignments via email and can use the iPad to do homework and send assignments back to her teachers. Please help us get this for her so that she doesn’t fall behind in her school work. She is determined to stay on top of her school work, despite the medical issues she is facing, and we really want to help her be successful with that goal. Thank you!
