Classroom Essentials 2023-2024
Funded Jul 11, 2023I am appreciative of your generous donations. My students enjoy coming into a calm and peaceful environment they call their classroom. They participate in our circle time with a community circle with the social skills books. The students are engaged and listening. When students have a break, they can access sensory items such as Play-Doh, sensory sand, and the calming area. The calming area has alternative seating, such as bean bags, for students to relax and calm their bodies. Thank you for giving my students the items needed to be successful in the classroom.”

Funded Sep 13, 2021Thank you again for the generous donations you gave to help with reopening school. The students and I are using the supplies on an everyday basis. We use the wipes to wipe down down and objects. Some kids come to school without a facemask or needs to replace an old one and I will supply students with a facemask. We read all of read aloud books to help students feel good about coming back to school.
The students were so pleased to see the items we received for our classroom and felt comfortable being back inside the classroom. Thank you again for giving back and help supporting us through this difficult and needy time.”

New Beginnings!
Funded Aug 4, 2020Thank you so much for your genuine donation to my online class. My students loves reading time and the books that goes along with the subject is amazing, especially for Math. Even though we are presented with many different challenges we are still able to laugh and smile while reading the books. The laminating machine has impacted my students because it helps them with their visual support and hands on learning. I am able to send them supports that are durable and visual to help with their learning. I am sincerely thankful for this gift of gratitude.”

Funded Aug 22, 2018We appreciate your love and support for donating to this project. The students love touching and making words using the magnetic letters. They want to work with the letters on a every day basis. We use these magnetic letters when towards the end of the week once they get a new letter pattern for the week. The students will have to listen to the sound to spell the word.
The students were so excited about receiving the new supplies and opening the boxes they came in. The students love using the easel and writing on it as well during small group activities and instruction.

Funded Sep 21, 2017My students are using the new resources during centers and free time such as indoor recess. They love that these new resources are specifically here for them to use and have to not worry about having or getting headphones. The students love the fact that someone was willing to give to them. They are so appreciative and grateful for the new resources.
The students was so excited and surprise about the new resources. They wanted to touch and see the new resources. They always remind me of how grateful they are of receiving the new resources. They were amazed that their teacher took the time out to do a special project for them.
The next steps is to plan more lessons involving more technology so the use of the new resources will be used and be effective. The lesson will be centered more on the use of videos and sound to enhance their learning. I am so honored to have this project funded and it is so grateful.”

Ms. Dixon
