Yes, math CAN be fun! Often math is seen has hard or too difficult for students. I use math games to help students see that math can be fun and that we can really understand it! In 5th grade, we focus on math, science, literature as well as social skills. The ability to work in groups as well as individually is a huge part of success in 5th grade. With hormones raging, students at this age are struggling to find the right balance of fitting in but still being their own person.
