  • Create and Print

    Funded Sep 24, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom project. The Brother All-in-One printer has made it so much easier for me to provide my students with daily classroom activities in writing, Science, Mathematics and Language Arts.

It has been difficult to make copies and to print worksheets for my students this year due to our copiers breaking down. Thanks to our own classroom printer and copier, I have been able to create homework packets as well as so many other activities for my students. We are truly grateful for your donation.”

  • First Grade Virtual Learning Assistance Needed

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom project. The MacBook Air has made it so much easier for me to provide my students with daily online lessons during our Zoom class.

I have been able to use all of the latest software to provide my students with good quality lessons. I have created interactive digital presentations and exciting activities for my students. Recently, my class and I participated in a virtual field trip which was made possible with my new Macbook Air. I am now able to stream educational Youtube videos as well as many district online programs with ease for my students.

My students were so excited to learn about my new MacBook Air and have told me that my webcam and the connection on my computer is so much better during Zoom. It has made such an enormous impact on my classroom and will most definitely continue to enhance student learning when we are able to return to the classroom. We are all incredibly grateful for all of your generous donations and support.”

  • Supplies for Success at Home

    Funded Sep 12, 2020

My students and I are incredibly grateful for your generosity. Receiving all of these supplies was so exciting for me as a teacher because I was able to provide my students with the tools that they needed for them to complete activities on Zoom.

We have been working on so many activities in our Animal and Plant Defenses Science unit. Students have been writing, drawing, cutting and pasting in their journals using their crayons, pencils, scissors and glue sticks. We have been working on solving word problems and the white boards, whiteboard markers and counters have made it easier for students to work on their problems and to share their answers on Zoom.

Distributing these resources to my students was such a great experience. It was very heartwarming to see their excitement. Each and every student came by with their parents to collect their supplies and they could not believe that these supplies were for them to keep at home. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and for bringing these much needed supplies to my students.”

    Mrs. Vidal

  • The More We Read, The More We Learn

    Funded Jan 24, 2016

My kindergarten students and I would like to thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. The leveled readers that arrived in our classroom have been so helpful to my students. Many of them are decoding and are beginning to read simple words and simple sentences. Leveled readers are so helpful because they help students become successful and enthusiastic readers. Not only are they building confidence in reading, but they are also increasing comprehension and fluency.

We have been using the books on a daily basis during our reading groups and students have really enjoyed reading them. My kindergarten students become so happy when they are able to read the book on their own and as a teacher this brings me so much joy.

Having the appropriate tools to be able to teach students to read is so important and I am very grateful to you for bringing these books into our classroom. We thank you for your generous donation and for making it possible for my students to have access to books that they can read independently.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Vidal

  • We Love To Read!

    Funded Jan 8, 2015

When the two Lakeshore boxes arrived in our classroom, my kindergarten students could not wait to see what was inside. It was so exciting for them to see that the contents of the boxes included a complete listening center. They could not wait to start using it. They immediately had me set it up for them and they have been enjoying it since.

My students and I would like to thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. We appreciate your help and your support. My students enjoy reading and the listening center has made it possible for them to access all of the reading books in our classroom. It is exciting for them to be able to follow along in a book as the story is read to them in a fun and educational way. They have all learned how to use the listening center and they are all able to select their favorite books and listen to them along with their friends. Thank you again for funding our classroom project!”

  • Kindergarten Needs A Laminating Machine

    Funded Feb 17, 2014

My kindergarten students and I would like to thank you for your generous donation to our project. My students were excited when the laminating machine arrived in our class. They were interested in learning about how the laminator would be used. I made several Math and Language Arts activities and laminated them for the students. They have had a lot of fun writing on these laminated activities with white board markers. They can erase and reuse these activities over and over again.

Your contribution has made it possible for me to make many educational learning centers for our kindergarten students. My students will be able to use these activities to help reinforce skills in the area of Mathematics and Language Arts. Having a laminating machine in class will help to preserve learning center activities, student work, learning charts and hands on activities. We thank you for your kindness and for your generosity. We appreciate your dedication and your support to our students and our classrooms.”

  • Creative Little Hands Need Art Supplies

    Funded Oct 8, 2013

My students and I would like to thank you for your generous donations. We were all very excited to receive all of the wonderful art supplies that arrived at our classroom. We have created many works of art in the last few weeks and we look forward to creating many more. Your contribution has allowed us to enhance our curriculum and to make learning fun and exciting. Budget cuts in the past few years have affected the Arts and caring individuals such as yourselves have helped us to continue exposing students to art. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and your dedication to helping students and teachers across the country. Thank you very much for helping our classroom and for allowing me to provide students with an exciting art program.”

  • Kindergarteners Need Computer Speakers

    Funded Oct 1, 2012

My kindergarteners and I would like to thank you for your generous donation. My students have benefited greatly from the speakers and the flash drive that you so graciously provided for our classroom. We have been able to use many educational programs in math and language arts on our computer. Most importantly the speakers have given my students the ability to hear and interact with these highly valuable educational tools. The flash drive has also given my students the opportunity to save their work that will be shared with their families as well.

Donors like you make an enormous difference in the lives of many children. You have certainly made a big impact in the lives of my little kindergarteners. We appreciate your generosity.”
