  • New Fun Beginning

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you so very much for funding my project. It really means a lot to myself and my students that there are people like you who are so kind in the world. The students are really going to enjoy the things for recess because there are sometimes not a lot to do outside when they have their free time. Now we will be introducing these fun things into recess.”

  • Stupendous Start of a NEW YEAR!

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

This project was a super hit with the students within my classroom. They had so many art supplies that they could use at their fingers tips it made it wonderful to see the creativity that came through. Students learn the best when they are creating things. It allows them to use each part of the brain as they are planning and creating the task. They also have to troubleshoot any problems that arise.

Students were so excited to see these new tools they were talking about them for weeks and weeks after they had received them. They couldn't wait to have a project that would incorporate their new crayons or markers. At mid-year students, materials are dwindling, and often times the sale that comes from the beginning of the year is gone. This allowed them to have new things without having to spend so much out of pocket.”

  • Hybrid Success

    Funded Mar 23, 2021

Hybrid learning was such a challenge during the pandemic. We were just getting into the groove of remote learning to have our whole routine change during the last few months of school. Masks, hand sanitizer, and other precautions were asked for during these difficult times to maintain a clean and germ-free environment.

A tripod was also asked for so that students could see the teacher while the in-person students were being tended to. With all this technology my computer could not support the number of usb cords that needed to be plugged in so it was important to get an attachment so that the proper things were attached to the computer.

Thank you so much for your support in this very crazy and hectic time.”

  • Incentives Through the Mail During Remote Learning

    Funded Sep 23, 2020

During remote learning, I requested this project to increase student engagement. The students loved getting mail at home so small prizes or incentives were earned throughout the week and sent to the student's homes. It was very lovely to see their faces when they earned such rewards because they would proudly show them on-screen with others.

One of the incentives was the star of the week and perfect attendance. This increased the response of students staying on the screen the whole time which was a task most days. The envelopes for this came in really handy so that the rewards could be sent to students. I would drive the parents crazy and put confetti in the envelopes but the kids absolutely loved it.

Thank you so much for your support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Grondin

  • Remote Materials

    Funded Aug 31, 2020

This project helped more than anyone could imagine during the pandemic. I was working at a low-income school where parents were struggling at home with a lack of materials. The materials would break and they wouldn't have the tools they needed to be successful. We utilized the gift card to teacher pay teachers which is a website that helps with academic resources created by teachers. It helped with transforming our curriculum into a more engaging format for online learning.

The headphones were a blessing so that my students could hear what was going on during class. Sometimes the environments that they were living in were loud and boisterous which made it impossible to hear the school lessons. When I gave the students the headphones they were able to hear much better and were able to focus better.

Thank so much for this donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Grondin

All students need essential materials in order to be successful through out the course of the school year. We are in a big building and some of the things that purchased are not always the best quality when trying to stick to a school budget. I am trying to provide the most I can for my students to keep them engaged and ready to learn. My goal is to limit the financial burden of my student's families to a minimum. These materials will provide my students what they need in order to be successful through out the course of the school. The students that I teach come from very low income families and I want to provide for them everything that I can so school is not just another burden.
