This project will help create an environment where my students are not limited to their desks and chairs. It will allow students to explore different ways to work in small groups and be comfortable learning anywhere in the classroom. It will also support my students who need to move constantly in order to focus better. I have a handful of students who consistently ask to walk around during class time to get out their energy. The fidget bands will support these students by allowing them to move their legs and work at their desks. The laps desks will be helpful for small groups to use their laptops on the rug without concern of damaging materials. The other soft chairs will be used in my classroom library so that students can cozy up with a book during silent reading time.
