At our school, we always try to support the different ways students learn. Some of my students do their best work when they stand while working. I always encourage students to stand at the library tables if needed, but the height of the tables sometimes makes it difficult to do this. The portable height adjustable sit to stand carts will give my students choices of how and where they can work. Students can adjust the height so they are able to comfortably stand while working. The tiltable tops will make the surface easier for students to use if they are working with laptops or other devices. Adding active learning stools gives students further options for the use of the sit/stand tables. The particular sit to stand carts that I am requesting have a shelf at the bottom where students can store their belongings while in my class. The portable nature of the tables and stools will allow students the ability to collaborate in groups or distance from one another if needed. I am confident that the project will provide the ability for students to do their best work in my class.
