  • Ditch the Messy Whiteboards!

    I just wanted to take a moment and let you know how much my students and I truly appreciate your generous donations towards our new Re-Write boards! The students have greatly benefited from having the re-write boards in the classroom, as it is a great asset to my instruction and their learning.

    We use them in the classroom constantly. We use them for math, writing, ELA, and even recess! These boards have made our classroom less hectic because we are not searching for new dry erase makers and erasers.

  • Wiggle While We Work

    The trampoline, stools, wobble pads, and balance balls have had an amazing impact on the students in my classroom. Giving my students the freedom of choice has made them more self-reliant, which is a character trait our school focuses on. It is important that I teach my kindergarten students how to make good choices, as this is a life skill. The alternative seating has increased the productivity during our independent work time. My students are able to choose their seat based on how they are feeling that day and where they feel they need to sit in order to be more focused and on task. Thank you so much for helping me to give my students the power to choose!”

  • Becoming Centered in Kindergarten

    When the enormous Amazon boxes arrived, the kids could hardly contain themselves. They couldn't wait until it was time to open them. As I took out the yoga mats, the students squealed and clapped. Then they started asking "Is it time for yoga yet?". They love what we have done so far and they're going to love it even more as we venture further into the different videos and books. The books are a fabulous resource for both myself and my students and the students love looking at the poster and trying out the poses on their own.

  • Making Learning Fun: OSMO

Every single one of my students has benefited from using the Osmos. Students are using the software to learn early number recognition, simple addition, building words, problem solving, and working together!
