Nutritious Microgreen Feed US Mentally and Physically
Funded Aug 25, 2020Thank a lot for your generous donation to my science class project. I am very excited to start this project based learning with my students, specially during the blended learning schedule that may cause anxiety to our students. I am sure that my students will be very excited to learn by doing not just reading or listening. It is a beautiful thing for my students to learn how to grow their own food and engineering new ways to grow microgreens in their homes in a short period of time. My hope that growing microgreens in the classroom will increase their caring and passion about living things and add welcoming healthy environment for my students to look forward to come to the school.”

Greening Our City!
Funded Nov 16, 2018Students were able to obtain skills in growing and caring different plants. Having access to the Farm GrowWall had increased students' engagement to nature, since the students were able to have a hands-on experience. Hydroponic grow lab enabled students to recognize another way to produce plants. The Farm GrowWall had also performed a large part for many science projects completed by the students. The GrowWall gives emphasis to the necessary variables a plant needs.
The Farm GrowWall is placed next to our fish tank, bearded dragon enclosure and hermit crab tank in the classroom, emphasizing nature conservation in our classroom.
At least each of the five classes, a group had compared the traditional way of growing a plant in soil, to the growth of the hydroponic plant, for their science projects.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Shetia
