  • Rain Rain Go Away Little Children Want to Play

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

We have had an incredible year (24-25 ) so far. The past few weeks have proven to be weather challenges for us. A big snow storm dumped 8 inches of snow on our playground, but thanks to your generosity we have new games and materials that we were able to use during our indoor recess time. We got to have motor play indoors, dancing, doing yoga moves and playing table games. It has been truly a good experience to have materials that are so engaging , that we do not mind having to stay indoors. Thank you again for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

  • My Work Space

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

This donation has helped my student engage in literacy activities. The four domains of language arts is an area that we have been working to enhance student skills. Reading, writing, speaking and listening are the foundations to literacy and comprehension.

That is incredible when you think of 3-5 year old children actively creating stories. They are eager to write in their journals and create stories to share with our classes.

This donation has opened the space for my students to be contributors to our classroom library. They are reading and writing stories to share with families and friends.

they are able to find spaces in the classroom to go work independently. Thank you so very much for supporting the students in my classroom.”

  • Let's Celebrate Winter Holidays Around The World

    Funded Feb 3, 2023

It is with our deepest gratitude that we want to thank your for supporting our classroom. Our students come from a very diverse range of backgrounds. Some of your students and families have limited experiences and exposure to cultural practices outside of their own. These toys, games and object have given them an opportunity not only to see cultural similarities and differences but to share their own practices with pride.

We were able to have a school wide winter celebrations family experience this year. Many of our families expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share their culture with other families. This was one experience that I know my students will take with them into the future.”

  • Earth Heroes

    Funded May 9, 2023

This donation has helped my student engage in science and geography. That is incredible when you think of 3-5 year old children talking about the concepts of saving our earth. They are eager to do their part by literally planting the seeds of trees for which they will not sit in the shade of. They already understand that in the planting of seeds we are saving our earth for the future. As they initiate conversations about recycling and reusing materials, I want you to know that you are the reason they are able to feel that they are making an impact on our world.

This donation has opened the space for my students to be contributors to a green movement in our school. We now have native plants in or garden and we are growing flowers that birds, butterflies and caterpillars are visiting. The ripple effect is exponential. Thank you so very much for supporting the students in my classroom.”

  • What to My Wondering Eyes do I See?

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

What to My Wondering Eyes do I See! The students in my class have been so busy learning about the world around them this year. The specimen blocks have been a popular item for them to explore up close. They have learned about the parts of insects, and the habitats that they live in. Their curiosity has been sparked to investigate in their own backyards. They are eager to find new creatures everywhere they go. We have saved several insects that were in the "wrong habitat", our school and returned them to the outdoor spaces that are better for them. The delight that has come from all of the creative experience that STEAM allows them to develop a love for learning is indescribable. Thank you for investing in our students!!!!”

  • Scribble, Draw and Write Developing Young Authors

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

You have helped our students express their thoughts and ideas through creative expression. They have used these journals, stickers, markers, and puppets to share their stories with classmates and families. You may not realize that writing is very challenging for many young children, so they do not choose to write as a preferred task. You have helped to make writing a fun learning experience for our youngest learners. They now have creative outlets for writing and sharing their imagination in a variety of ways. You have helped plant seeds of literacy, and writing as fun ways of learning.”

  • Calm Kids

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to express our gratitude for your generosity. As we continue to operate through the affects of COVID-19 and the social emotional needs of our youngest learners, it has been critical to have materials in place to aid our students. Through your generous donations we have been able to create a space in our classroom where students are able to self calm or retreat when they are in distress. This space is calming and relaxing for our students and allows them to regain control so that they can continue learning and growing. It has been an incredible addition to our classroom environment.”

  • Science and Math My Way

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

Science and Math experiences stretch and strengthen young minds. Their creativity and inquiry skills develop through play and exploration with math and science materials. Through your generous donations we were able to secure new science and math materials that have not only engaged our youngest learners but have already demonstrated the ability to improve their knowledge and stretch their critical thinking skills. Our students have been busy using their science learning center to create structures and investigate their own theories of motion through experiments. It is amazing to witness the learning and growth that has taken place because they have the right equipment for limitless opportunities to engage in science and math.”

  • Together We Build a Better World.

    Funded Sep 6, 2021

First I want to thank you for your support and generosity. Without you it would be very challenging to provide these unique opportunities for our students. The"Together We

Build a Better World." project has provided classroom materials that have been put to use immediately. Our students have been exploring other countries through play experiences that include the multicultural food that we were able to purchase with your generous donations. We we have been learning the vocabulary that goes along with the food and the students even learned to say the days of the week in Yurba and French. The experiences of global exploration through play has opened up the world to them. The increased excitement and engagement in the world around them has truly been incredible to see. They have created some fun menus and the level of innovation that has blossomed is amazing. Thank you again for your continued support. You have made a difference for our students.”

Having a 12-inch iPad Pro will allow my students dive deeper into their individual interests yet allow for exploration of standard skills that all students need to develop. Many of my students are living in homes where they have no internet access, limited opportunities to travel outside of their immediate neighborhoods, and limited access to cultures other than those in their neighborhood. A 12-inch iPad will open up opportunities for my students to experience a world outside of their neighborhoods. Students will be exposed to global opportunities available through digital experiences. In a global community that strives to help students become career and college ready, it is imperative to increase innovative learning opportunities that encourage students to become innovative thinkers. A 12-inch iPad will allow my students to have multiple opportunities to increase their inquiry skills and enhance individual thinking skills by allowing them to independently search for answers to their own questions. Inquiry-based learning allows students to own their own learning. A 12-inch iPad will make it easy to connect with the world around us through a kinesthetic option that not only supports students with visual impairments but also supports students who learn best through touch and tactile learning experiences. The portal for learning will be open and unlimited when touch technology is available for all of my students to experience. It will remove some of the challenges and the limitations that my students' disabilities can produce. A 12-inch iPad will provide learning experiences beyond limitations of the classroom walls and allow my students to be immersed in global learning opportunities. A 12-inch iPad will provide FREE, immediate access to an infinite amount of information. A 12-inch iPad literally will put my students' learning at their fingertips.
