    It has been a blessing in our classroom that you sent us these fabulous supplies. You have helped supply things that these kids are needing.

    Thank you so much for your generous contribution! The scholars love the new head phones and have an opportunity to use them every day. Scholars are using the headphones as they work on computers on a program that helps them with the remedial skills they need. They are spending time learning using the technology you helped them receive.

    Students have loved the opportunity to read using the kindles. They are a treat to use the Kindle Fires in class! They are excited to see the animations and hear the story read to them. This is such a good thing that they are enjoying the time they spend reading.”

This class is very engaging! They want to be actively talking and doing all the time. They are great at being ready with thoughts to share. They love to be challenged to work hard and achieve goals. The students come from a low income area. Most of them receive breakfast and lunch at school. Few students have dedicated parents who help them with homework and are involved in seeing them succeed. Nearly all of the students in this class test low in reading and math. A major goal of our school is to bring those test scores up to a more acceptable number. These students don't have a lot of resources in their home lives, but are able to use tools and a supplies to learn regularly in the classroom.
