Because of your support, I will be able to expand our school's Gallery of Greatness to display even more exemplary student artwork. The initial roll out of this project was a huge success, our school hallways are gorgeous and have made so many students proud lifelong artists. My students have created an amazing body of art but their work is only temporarily displayed within a just a few areas of our school. Our current art shows are mounted on paper-covered walls which often are quickly torn because of hallway traffic and lead to massive waste. By donating to this project, you will be providing cork board rolls, which will be used to create re-usable art show displays that are damage resistant and waste-free! In addition, you will be providing frames with mats so that student artwork can be professionally displayed within a school gallery. By ensuring that student art be professionally presented, you will also be validating their identities as artists and inspiring their peers to give art a try. When students feel celebrated for what they have worked hard to create, they become even more driven to repeat the cycle of accomplishment and that is our goal.
