Anchor Me Away!
Funded Oct 23, 2020We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts that you took the time to sponsor us in a time of need .As you know we are still working through social distancing and it is really challenging to my students and for myself. This donation has played a major part in my teaching and helping students see the big picture as I teach a lesson. I use this double sided easel through out the day for reading and math . It serves as a great way to hang anchor charts and giving examples of what is taught .
My students where so excited when I explain how we were going to use the easel for learning and sharing. They love coming up to the easel working out math problems and drawing pictures . They are extremely excited when their name is called to share or to draw something on the poster . This makes it easier for all the student to see and participate .
Next month students will make a poster on what they want to be when they grow up. This will be a wonderful experience for students to come up and hang their posters up on the easel to share with their classmates. I'm sure they will enjoy that as they read their presentation to the class. Again thanks from the bottom of our hearts!!!!”

This classroom project was brought to life by A Generous Donor and 4 other donors. You Guys Made Me Ink!
Funded Mar 9, 2016Dear Donor
First of all I want to thank you for all the ink that was donated to my class. The students and I are enjoying the assorted colors and pictures . The students are using the new resources in Differentiated Learning Centers and in Reading Intervention Groups . The students are broken up into small groups and are able to see the wonderful colors as if the pictures have come alive.
This New resource is amazing during my small groups. I am able to give each student a card full of color to work on phonic skills and letter recognition. During phonic skills the students pick through the colored pictures to find five cards that they can make the sound of the beginning word ,then they are asked to tell what colors do they see in the pictures. This activity serves as a two for one skill.
When the students first saw the pictures, they all wanted to come to the small group to sort through the pictures. Especially after they saw how much fun we were having at in the group. So, I did it as a whole group so that everyone could participate in the activity. We couldn't have done this without your help.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Green
