Your donations supported my students while they were at home doing remote learning. My students had an opportunity to have supplies at home to support the independent activities that they were working on.
Our students were able to support their hand eye coordination with lacing, sensory support when using slime and play dough, self expression with the paint sticks, art development with wiki sticks, science discoveries with the magnet dots and math and engineering activities when building with the stackable cubes. Your generosity was greatly appreciated.”
My students were eager to start using the new materials during small group activities in the math center. The size and sequence farm puzzles went perfect with our animal/pet theme. Students were able to fit the animals to the corresponding size.
The animal stacker was also a great way to support measurement, students were able to stack from biggest to smallest. The blocks have numbers printed on the side of each block and this encouraged counting as each block was stacked.
This project gave my classroom a variety of material to help us rotate materials and support mathematics development.”

Thank you for supporting my project, it has made a difference in my classroom. Students have had an opportunity to select preferred items that have helped them feel calm, safe and cozy.
The emotion floor cushions have been a great hit with the students, they visit the calming area and either choose the emotion floor cushion they want to sit on or they pick up each cushion and look at the emotion on it. Students have also used the cushions to match them to the emotions on the Walk in My Shoes Mat.”
Your generosity in donating to my project has supported students with sensory processing. The students in my classroom have been able to use the Playfoam Pluffle in our sensory table which provides students a great tactile experience. Students get to experience how the pluffle sticks together then slowly expands and breaks into smaller parts. The pluffle never dries out, it has eye catching vibrant colors and it can be used to squish down into cups or squeeze it in their hands. Thank you once again.”

Your donation has made a lasting impact on my students by giving them a variety of materials to help support letter name and recognition.
My students were excited with the new materials, they smiled and clapped as I took the materials out. Students then had an opportunity to select an activity based on their preferences and therefore explore the use of the new materials.
Currently the students have been using the letter molds in the kinesthetic sand area, the next step is to use the letter molds to be dipped in paint and make letter prints.”

Thanks to your donation, our students are enjoying a variety of books that can be read to them during small groups. The books will provide a quiet activity that will support the ability to retell stories by the students with titles that are age appropriate and inviting. Our class library was also filled with new books that will help support their interest in books, stories and how they handle books (turn pages, hold the book right side up). The new books also included some board books which makes it easier for our younger students to turn the pages. We appreciate your contribution to their learning!”

On behalf of the young learners at our school, we thank you for your generosity in donations in order to complete this project. Currently with the use of the IPAD as a second device during distant learning I can see all of my students as I share my screen. Having the IPAD at home allows me to download a variety of educational apps that I can use and share with students.
Without the IPAD, I would not be able to see my students while I am aiming my camera to my table top to model an activity or while I share a book. Some of the great things I can use that the students enjoy are the virtual backgrounds and the use of the emojis.
Both students and families are enjoying the many resources that have been shared through Zoom class and they too have now downloaded the apps on their devices.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. L.Gutierrez
