Jazzy Narwhals
Funded Aug 9, 2022Thank you all for this generous donation to our school and especially to our kids!!! The students are over the moon with this donation. Because of this donation, we are able to have a proper jazz band drum kit. Jazz band is a extracurricular class that is offered at my school for students that want to learn to play a different style of music. This ensemble challenges them to become better musicians!! Being able to have the proper drum kit for them is part of making this experience a quality learning environment.
When my percussion section walked in and saw the drum kit put together, they were excited. They all wanted to play it right then and there. One of my percussionists cried when they saw it. Tears of joy from people being so generous and pure excitement of what was added to our classroom. The band students were excited to see a drum kit in the room and then when we had our first jazz band rehearsal and they heard how it fit in, they clapped and cheered our percussionists. It was an amazing day!!
My students will continue to grow as musicians and this is one piece of our ever growing music program at our school. The excitement and love of music is evident in my classroom everyday and being able to add things like this drum kit helps make it more exciting. Again, I/We thank you all for your donations to help make this happen for our school!!!”

Funded Oct 18, 2020Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for helping me keep my classroom safe and sanitized during this Covid time of learning. We recently went back to face to face learning at my school and there have been some challenges with PPE. As a music teacher, I have to travel from room to room to do my job this year. The students do not come to my room. So going in and out of each class has caused some anxiety with keeping everything on my cart and me santitized.
These products help me feel more secure as a traveling teacher. I know that I am able to keep me and my items on my cart sanitized. This makes me feel better about doing my job safely.
Thank you again for your generosity!!!”

Hands Free Music Online
Funded Aug 20, 2020Thank you for supporting my classroom during this remote time of learning!!! Being able to move around my space without having to hold my phone while teaching so students can see me has been invaulable!!
The students are able to follow me from the white board to the piano and I don't have to go back and forth with different angles and set up my phone or camera in a new area. The 360 degree camera holder follows me where ever I go. And having it mounted on a tripod has been the best thing ever so the students can see me at eye level.
This project was/is so important to my students that are learing from home. It has enhanced our music class!!
Thank you again for your support!!!”

All People areWelcome in the Music Room
Funded Jul 4, 2020Thank you again for your generous donation to my classroom's library. I have shared with the students that they will have new books when they come back to school for face to face learning. We have been able to read together through virtual learning and they have enjoyed the books that we have read so far.
I apologize that I do not have pictures of the students with the books but at this time, the school will not allow us to take pictures of our virtural classrooms with kids faces. I know that it can be a disappointment to not see how the students reacted, but it is the policy I must follow at this time.
I want to again thank you all for your support. I know that my students are excited about coming back into school ready to learn. They are excited that our classroom library keeps getting bigger each year!!!”

This would not have been possible with out your generous donation. We appreciate your contribrution to our music classroom and we are having a great year with learning music thanks your your generosity!!!!!”

Funded Sep 30, 2018Thank you for the generous donation of the lights for our program. Usually our programs are dark when the curtains are closed and we don't have any lights for the floor, but this donation allowed us to have highlighted lights on the floor during our performance. You can see in our pictures that we have fun lighting on the floor while the curtains are closed and that is due to your generous donation. We loved being able to change the colors to add dramatic effects and set the mood for our production. You have helped make a theater group of kids very happy!!!
Thank you again for your donation!!!”

Funded Sep 12, 2018Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. Music teacher often are forgotten when it comes to classroom supplies. Your donation was vital with helping with the lack of classroom supplies this school year. We have been able to have a supply of pencils and highlighters to use in our music journals where we keep all of our musical information. We have created projects and have been able to use all of the supplies that you graciously donated toward.
My students were very excited to not have to bring supplies from their classrooms to music. They didn't have to carry their boxes back and forth to my classroom. They are very grateful for this!!
Again thank you for supporting my classroom, it means a lot to me and my students!!”

Funded Jan 26, 2018Thank you for your generous support for a color printer in our music classroom. The students have enjoyed the information that I have been able to print off in color instead of black and white in the classroom. It is amazing the difference of color images versus black and white images and how it can impact learning. My students and I are currently working on projects that we will be using the printer to print their final drafts. They will get to see music notes and symbols in a more vibrant way. Thank you again for your generous support.”

Funded Dec 20, 2017Thank you for your donation to my musical classroom. My students are so excited to have our P/A/Karaoke system in the classroom. We have used it for some incredible events in the school. We have used it to announce basketball games, at two school dances and then again at our pep rally. We have used it in the classroom to sing songs for each other in groups and record sounds onto our classroom ipad to research vibration and create fund sounds.
The students have been able to explore not only their own voices but other sounds that can be recorded from using this new system. The students have loved being the many uses we have found for this new system in our school.”
