COVID-19 has been hard on my students because they need more personal social interactions. When they come to school it is important that we have physical activities that can get them out of their seats and interacting with each other. Our science has been a lot of videos and worksheets this year because the science curriculum is new for Life Skills students, so these science kits are just what my students need. These science kits will help us cover all of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade science topics to give each of our students a basic understanding of scientific concepts. I have also requested some tools to help my non-verbal student to have more physical interactive experiences when working on his reading and writing skills. The laminating sheets are important to preserve the materials to last more than one year. Interactive, social, learning activities help our students to develop emotional resilience and to learn academic skills as they create relationships with each other.
