I work with students who have a lot of sensory needs. That means they need to be exploring the world through hands-on activities. Because of the extent of their disabilities a lot of activities involving sand and water are relaxing for them. By providing these types of activities for my students they are able to get the support they need to regulate themselves. These activities give them an outlet for energy to pour out into. The materials I have selected are items that can be played with in the water or in the sand that are made to be durable and outlast the hard use they get. Please help me fund this project and create an enriched environment for my students!
