I would like to send home three different books to my students during our time of distant learning. These books are ones they have enjoyed reading in class and I know would bring them comfort while at home. I have also enclosed a special pencil that my students work for during school. They try their best to get as many dojo points has they can to earn these pencils. These kids have been so patient and strong during our time of distant learning. Being first graders they really don't understand why they can't come to school. My missing with this project is to bring joy to their faces with a special package of books for them to keep and read at home.
